Master an art or a sport with Apeta. Apeta is a reputation-based community for learning and mastering a complex skill like playing an instrument or playing a sport. Leverage your friends and the Apeta community to learn. Show your progress learning an activity to earn milestones and badges. As an expert, you can build a book of business and earn all within the app. Apeta uses its proprietary AI vector database to categorize activity-specific topics and highlight the takeaways for everyone's benefit.
Led development of the mobile app with React Native, as well as backend services using Express.js, Prisma, React Query, MongoDB, and a suite of serverless AWS services.
Payment processing using Stripe, both for accepting payments from users and paying out to experts using Stripe connected accounts.
Planned and executed initial MVP launch to 100+ users. Additional responsibilities include product management, design, marketing, investor pitches, and technical project roadmap.
